With the explosion of Buy Now Pay Later, young Aussies had all but abandoned traditional credit cards, associating them with high interest and heavy fine print.
So, when Westpac introduced Flex Card, a 0% interest, $0 late fees product targeted at under 35s, we needed to convince our credit-sceptical audience to take another look. To do that, we focused on the last thing they’d normally associate with credit cards - freedom.
Through our campaign, we demonstrated how Flex Card’s interest-free feature could help them make the most of life without the ‘traps’ of traditional credit cards.
